Capello Chopping Head in Action
We ran an 8 row 30 inch chopping Capello corn head in wet August corn at the 2010
Farm Progress Show. Notice the mulch left behind the Capello head compared to the
last pass made by the competition!
Painted Stalks Demo
We painted the stalks of 12 rows of corn different fluorescent colors to demonstrate
how the patented Capello chopping system creates a vortex below the knives which
leaves the chopped residue in the row it came from and completely eliminates windrowing
issues!
Folding technology
Take a look at the technology that goes into making the folding option work on a
Capello head. Notice the short ram hydraulics and heavy duty hinge system that reduce
moving parts and weight. The dividers also fold back for ease of maintenance and
will take up less room in your shed while in storage!
Rigorous Quality Control
The engineers at Capello test every row unit produced before assembly. Each row
unit is ran at 130% of operating speed to test its durability. Many complex measurements
are made, and any defective row units are removed from the assembly line for examination.
Only 1 in 1,000 units are defective, a real testament to the quality!
